GooseCompany was established in 1981 in Shirokanedai, Tokyo as a towel retailer.

The store was mainly sold towels with small fraction of other items such as babies’ bibs and babies’ items.
It was very rare at time the store sold towels and other goods in one place.
This remarkable idea leads to our company to become known to some people and become popular.


The turning point came in as first child was born in the Chiba family as our oldest son.
From the moments I saw my son, I made up my mind to focus create something for the baby and his future.

The company was to offer custom-made baby clothes just for him/her.
